Director of Development

 Job Description        

The Director of Development works closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors and is responsible for coordinating and implementing a comprehensive marketing and resource development program to promote and fulfill the Mission of Crisis House. This position is a hands-on fundraising generalist. With the Executive Director, develops a comprehensive fundraising program with clear metrics primarily focused on building private support from individual donors at all gift levels. The Development Director will support the Executive Director in board recruitment and will provide staff support to the board philanthropy committee. This position will oversee the transition to a new donor software data base, develop the foundation for utilizing social media as one fundraising strategy and keep the website and social media up to date with compelling material. The Development Director will enhance the visibility and build on the positive reputation of Crisis House in the community.

 

 Qualifications        

Skilled in accomplishing the full spectrum of non-profit fundraising activities. An entrepreneurial spirit, grounded in best practice fundraising strategies with proven results is what is needed to launch Crisis House to a new level.
