 Job Description        

The Database and Development Coordinator plays a crucial role within North County Lifeline’s growing External Relations department, which encompasses fundraising, volunteerism, and marketing. North County Lifeline is an $8M organization with a mission focused on self-reliance for youth and families. The organization grew by 15% last year, employing more than 100 staff members and relying on hundreds of volunteers. The Database and Development Coordinator is responsible for overall management of the donor database, daily gift processing, and supporting the administrative needs of the External Relations department. The ideal candidate has experience managing a donor database, creating queries and reports to support fundraising, and providing administrative office support. The overall goal of this position is to strengthen Lifeline’s youth and family services by increasing the community’s financial and volunteer support through fundraising, marketing and volunteer strategies.  Qualifications        

Qualifications/Requirements This position requires a high level of computer skills, including MS Office suite and experience with databases. Experience working within a donor database required. Training will be provided for the Gift Works donor database. Must possess strong time management skills, exceptional attention to detail, and solid organizational abilities. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, exercise good judgment, and be able to work accurately and independently in a timely manner with little supervision. Superior proofreading and copy editing abilities required. Associate’s degree or in a related field, but equivalent work experience may be substituted, plus two years’ experience of development support and data entry preferred.

 

 Additional Information        

Work Schedule Full- time 40 hours per week- Monday – Friday; non- exempt position. Weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed Compensation and Benefits Salary commensurate with experience and education. Bilingual English/Spanish compensation available for qualified candidates.
