Marketing & Public Relations Manager

 Job Description        

Position summary: Under the direction of the Director of Marketing and Communications, this position is responsible assisting with the strategizing of and execution of comprehensive marketing and public relations campaigns for the company, focusing on achieving the company’s earned revenue goals through subscription and single ticket sales.

 

 Qualifications        

Position requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related field; or commensurate Experience; • 3-5 years of professional experience in PR, marketing or media, or development; experience with non-profit or arts organization desired; • Excellent interpersonal skills required; • Professional style, commitment to the organization; • Strong oral and written communication skills required; • Must be able to effectively interact with a wide variety of people and able to prioritize and manage a heavy workload; • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, social media management tools and video editing software; • Familiarity with Tessitura desired.
