Faith Relations and Development Coordinator

 Job Description        

San Diego Habitat for Humanity seeks a highly motivated and energetic individual with strong service and administrative skills to serve as the Faith Relations and Development Coordinator. This role will provide support to increase partnership with local faith-based institutions and communities, and provide administrative assistance to the Development Team with the goal of building support that will further Habitatís mission to build homes, communities and hope. Under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Development, the Faith Relations and Development Coordinator will be responsible for laying the groundwork and implementing outreach efforts focused on recruiting and strengthening faith-based partnerships. This individual will also provide general administrative support that will enable the Development Team to increase contributions from individuals and corporate partners.

 

 Qualifications        

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or 1 - 3 years of progressively responsible experience in administrative support, nonprofit development, or sales Proven track record of providing exemplary customer service Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills Proficient in Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel. CRM/Database experience a plus Understanding of nonprofit organizations Ability to prioritize, follow through and meet deadlines Commitment to nonprofit service with an interest in advancing the critical call for affordable housing in San Diego County Ability to juggle multiple projects with a high level of attention to detail Open and welcoming of people of any faith or no faith, individuals of diverse populations and socio-economic backgrounds Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as necessary Ability to work in a fast-paced, open, team-oriented, business casual office Must be able to type 35 wpm Must be able to drive a
