Fund Development Coordinator

 Job Description        

The Development Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative support for all fund development team efforts including fundraising support, database management and reporting, event coordination and logistics, donor communications and support, prospect research and assigned project support. Essential Functions Manage and update donor database, ensuring data entry accuracy, gift processing/entry, data integrity including troubleshooting/identifying inconsistencies and making corrections. Utilize full range of Raiserís Edge functionalities to support fundraising and constituent relations goals. Support Moves Management system tracking and communication using Raiserís Edge. Produce reports for development staff and council leadership. Provide administrative support to the development team, fundraising committees and meetings. Follow policies and procedures to assure the accuracy and quality of recorded constituent and gift information (data integrity). Serve as main contact for dept.

 

 Qualifications        

Bachelorís degree or equivalent years of experience in related field. Minimum two yearsí experience providing administrative support, preferably in a fund development/fundraising environment. Experience using Blackbaud (Raiserís Edge) or related fundraising software system. Proficiency in MS Office software including Word and Excel required. Excellent organizational abilities with strong attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups from a culturally diverse population. Drive and determination to work effectively with minimal supervision. Ability to work efficiently, effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines and achieve goals. Ability to professionally interact with all levels of our diverse organization, external customers and donors. Excellent writing skills, telephone, email and in-person etiquette, interpersonal and communication skills.
