 Job Description        

Hours: 20 hours per week Salary: $19.23 - $21.98 (all new hires begin at starting salary regardless of experience) Benefits: 403b Retirement Plan with a match of up to 2% based on years of service; CA Paid Sick Leave accrued at 1 hour per 30 hours worked with a maximum accrual of 80 hours per calendar year. The primary responsibility of the Resource Development Specialist is to cultivate and nurture internal and external relationships that contribute to Harmonium's fiscal solvency through donations, grants and fundraising. This position is responsible for developing and implementing innovative and strategic approaches that leads to donor engagement with individuals, community groups, businesses and corporations. This position works in alignment with CEO to ensure the advancement of Harmonium’s mission, vision and core values.



Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university – Minimum of 3 years' of development and fundraising experience in a non-profit setting – Excellent verbal communication skills, including public speaking, to build and sustain positive relationships – Excellent and persuasive writing skills – Experience writing grants and preparing resource development materials – Must demonstrate meticulous attention-to-details, project management and attention to timelines – Must have strong interpersonal skills and able to build positive relationships with a variety of individuals and sectors – Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills
