 Job Description        

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Reporting directly to the Executive Director, work with the Resource Development Committee and the Board of Directors to develop diversified revenue streams; inclusive of developing the Strategic Direction of the clubs. Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to generate fundraising income from identified and new individuals and corporations. Must be cooperative, friendly and create a safe and harmonious environment. Abide by and support the Club mission to inspire and enable all young people to reach their full potential as caring, productive and responsible citizens.



KNOWELEDGE & SKILL:Bachelorís degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience A minimum of three (3) years of experience in non-profit development with a demonstrated track record in implementing successful individual, foundation and corporate campaigns. Superior communication skills; oral, written, proofreading, editing and presentation Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to, and build relationships with, broadly diverse audiences Strong project management, administrative and organizational skills; ability to set priorities and work on multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and capable of becoming proficient in various donor software. Knowledge of accounting principles as they relate to fundraising issues. Possess and maintain a valid California Driverís License and be approved by the Club's auto insurance provider. Mandatory CPR and First Aid Certifications;


 Additional Information        

KEY ROLES:As a member of the leadership team, work with the Executive Director to engage the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and community volunteers in the planning and implementation of a strategic plan as it relates to fundraising efforts. Develop for committee and board approval an annual written resource development plan Develop and implements written plans for cultivating, soliciting and stewarding individual and corporate donors and prospects capable of a gift of $10,000 or more over time. Develop and implement a written stewardship plan to increase donor retention. Enhance and implement the annual campaign to upgrade individual giving to create a major and planned gift pipeline to increase support of the BGCAís Jeremiah Milbanks, Lifetime Giving Society, and Heritage Clubs. Support fundraising events through solicitation and securing of corporate sponsorships; inviting and encouraging donor attendance at events; and assisting with run of show messaging.
