As an integral part of The Grauer School’s leadership team, you will perform duties including: cultivating parents and other donors; tracking and promptly recognizing donations in time, treasure and talent; planning events such as Spring Gala, Grandfriends Luncheon, panel discussions, etc.; managing the Annual Fund; developing major donors; communicating with stakeholders via newsletter, website, social media, etc.; representing the school in a way that advances our mission, both internally and externally. May be called upon to support marketing/pr, admissions teams or other school priorities.



The Grauer School seeks an energetic and collaborative development/events manager who can lead our Advancement Office in engaging donors and planning and organizing events. You will collaborate closely with our Admissions, Alumni and Communications teams as well as our Parents Association. Volunteer management skills are essential. Knowledge of Salesforce preferred.

The Grauer School is a co-educational, college preparatory independent school in Encinitas. We specialize in developing resourceful and compassionate individuals and college candidates in a challenging, personalized setting. Our faculty is energetic and dynamic, engaging in real teaching/learning relationships with students. The school was founded in 1991 and has grown from a school of seven students to a small school by design, enrolling approximately 150 students in grades 7-12 on a permanent 6-acre coastal campus. Fundraising (from drives, major donors, and events) accounts for about 20% of the School’s income each year.
