 Job Description        

Position Summary: Kitchens for Good is looking for an Events and Communications Coordinator who will be responsible for the management, coordination, and execution of fundraising events for Kitchens for Good including large galas, small donor dinners and online giving campaigns. This position develops sponsorship/trade/business arrangements and cultivates donor relationships with businesses, individuals, and organizations interested in supporting Kitchens for Good’s events and activities. This position will also assist in digital storytelling and online giving strategies utilizing social media, crowdfunding, and email marketing. This position will work in coordination on other projects as assigned by the Senior Director, other office staff, and volunteers in generating funds to support Kitchens for Good. Competencies: ● Strong Presentational Skills ● Collaboration Skills ● Customer/Client Focus ● Initiative/Self-Motivated ● Results Driven ● Organizational Skills Education and Work Experience ● Bachelor’s degree (B.A) in related field ● Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in planning and executing fundraising events for nonprofits. ● Experience with Sales Force (highly desirable) ● Background in Marketing and/or public relations (desired). ● Proficient in Microsoft office programs. Additional Qualifications: • Demonstrated experience in website maintenance, event execution, sponsorship, website and business development/relationship programs required.


 Additional Information        

This is a non-exempt full time position scheduled for 40 hours a week, 8:30am-5:00pm Monday – Friday. May require work on weekends or after normal business hours for special off-site events. Compensation: $ 20.55-22.55 To apply please apply online at AND send your resume and cover letter to
