 Job Description        

• Lead and support the department with the organization and execution of all patron events. * prepares and distributes meeting agendas and materials with development team, inter-departmental staff, volunteer committees and venue staff. • Develop, track, and provide event strategy, checklists and summary posts regarding patron experiences to share and drive awareness to give, join and/or renew. • Follows up with donors and sponsors to obtain event information regarding payment, advertisements, and attendance. • Handles calls and emails regarding tickets, donations, sponsorships and all general event-related tasks.• produce consistent messaging, creative patron stories, administrative/development tasks and active promotion of our programs and impact. • implement creative and innovative membership appeals, upgrade strategies, and annual giving campaigns,• Create, develop and execute the development department’s communications activities that generate and foster engagement with patrons.

 

 Qualifications        

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; experience in communications, marketing, public relations or journalism • Strong communication and interpersonal skills that apply to dealing with staff, volunteers and patrons (donors & members) • Experience with social media and marketing platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, MailChimp, CANVA, Etc. • Proficient in basic computer skills, including MS Office; and graphic design skills • Ability to maintain project management, planning checklists, Etc. • Experience analyzing data and developing systems to improve operating efficiency. • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment and problem solve. • Energetic and positive professional who works well in a collaborative team environment. • Demonstrated experience in taking initiative when planning and executing projects. • Enthusiasm and desire to make an impact. • Ability to work evening

 

 Additional Information        

The Museum of Photographic Arts is seeking someone with events management and strong communication skills, who enjoys working on engaging experiences and development’s marketing collateral that bring people together. Reporting to the Director of Development Operations, the ECC will assist with the design and implementation of the Development department’s event planning and communication needs; as well as drafting social media content/newsletter communications.
