 Job Description        

Carry a portfolio, cultivate, steward, engage and solicit of mid-level donors ($1,000-$1,800) Collaborate with Marketing Director to create Donor Stewardship strategies for donors Effectively utilize Federationís donor management system to manage, track, and report on all aspects of mid-level donor relationships. In collaboration with the Marketing Director, the DEA will ensure the development and implementation of strategies, communications, program agendas, and scripts for Signature events Responsible for securing premium Table sponsorships and managing Table Captain Strategy for signature events. Oversee all affinity group and donor education programs, including Jewish Real Estate Professionals (JREP) affinity group and Womenís Philanthropy Brunch Club. Collaborate with Planning & Strategy department on non-campaign events that present opportunities to engage donor volunteers Work closely with key staff partners to recruit and oversee committee leadership.



3-5 years of experience developing programs, working with volunteers, or similar environment Proven ability to develop and implement strategies that will guide annual campaign efforts Demonstrated ability to work closely with lay leaders and committee volunteers Demonstrated ability to supervise and manage staff Knowledge of fundraising databases and reporting a plus. Self-starter and ability to develop own marketing and messaging strategies, in collaboration with Marketing Director Entrepreneurial mind-set and willing to take risks a must Flexible perspective Ė ability to work with processes and systems that are evolving and subject to change. Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions. Strong oral and written communication skills that will support donor stewardship strategies and organization-wide marketing efforts.  Additional Information        

The Donor Engagement Associate will deepen the engagement, education, involvement and experiences of our donors and volunteers. He/she will carry a portfolio of mid-level donors and will support our large scale (Signature Events) as well as small-scale programs designed to stimulate volunteer activity and enthusiasm. The position will direct campaign volunteer recruitment efforts, expanding our base of fundraising volunteers while overseeing their volunteerism and involvement. The DEA is a member of the development team and is expected to contribute to the overall success of Federationís financial resource development strategy. Ability to work nights and weekends as needed. Knowledge of the Jewish community, customs and traditions, including knowledge of Israel.
