 Job Description        

Primary Responsibilities: Commitment to the communities and constituents we serve, grounded in community empowerment and development. Directly supervise the activities of all principal agency staff: Associate Director of Operations, Program and Facilities staff. Responsible for resource development; setting and meeting the organizational budget and revenue goals (incl: grants management, individual giving and membership, corporate sponsorships and special events. With the Associate Director, oversee facilities management as well as tenant cooperation and compliance with tenants of the Sherman Heights Community Center building, to ensure safety of the staff and public. Ensure that the agency has adequate staffing, hold regular meetings and serve as a resource for staff. Review, upgrade and implement the organization's personnel and fiscal policies. Work with the Board of Directors on strategic planning, program development, fundraising and other.



Position Summary: Working with and accountable to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for the overall administration and mission delivery of the Sherman Heights Community Center including quality program management and implementation, fundraising and organizational growth, staff development, external relations, advocacy and community partnerships. Compensation and benefits: $40- $50K salary range DOE @29hrs (some evenings and weekends); $150/mo wellness allowance, $40/mo cell phone allowance. Paid leave: 15 days vacation, 5 sick days per year Employer note: Income adjustments considered every six-months based on execution of fundraising goals.
