Assist the Development Team in reaching annual fundraising goals through the cultivation and stewardship of individual donors and major gifts.
Secure donations through a process of identifying, cold calling, cultivating, soliciting, closing, and stewarding donors and prospects.
Manage a portfolio of donors with a focus on identifying donors and prospects with the capacity to make annual gifts of $5,000 or more.
Identify and cultivate prospective donor-advised funds with banks, wealth management organizations and foundations.
Steward relationships with existing donors and prospects through face-to-face meetings, via phone, direct mail, e-mail, and at events.
Perform all follow-up with new and/or potential donors cultivated through special events, such as Dinners for Good, salon dinners, and graduation ceremonies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent public speaking skills, experience making cold calls to prospects and engaging in face-to-face meetings. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to present complex data in clear, concise manner. Ability to meet deadlines and to work independently.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
