 Job Description        

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform variety of administrative duties related to fundraising activities. - Provides administrative support to the Development Director for donor development, to include: - Calendaring/scheduling meetings and meeting preparation. - Gift tracking in large donor database, including data entry and report generation, gift processing, documentation, thank you letters. - Assist in donor stewardship, cultivation, and thank you calls. - Create marketing collateral for the Development Team - Oversee and implement promotion of events and programs through marketing platforms (i.e. social media, newsletters, and marketing collateral). - Assist in growth of all giving circles including tracking and delivery of recognition items. - Develop effective working relationships with donors and volunteers. - Assist in writing grant and event sponsorship proposals. - Research/identify new donors and sponsors. - Assist in developing fundraising goals and donor retention plans.



1. 2-3 years of donor development and fundraising experience in the non-profit sector. 2. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint. 3. Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Strong, warm presence over the phone and in person. 4. Excellent proof reading skills, spelling and attention to detail in all forms of correspondence. 5. Ability to work with figures, as well as demonstrate calculation and estimation capability. 6. Personable, and has the ability to foster positive and authentic relationships with corporate partners, individual donors, and colleagues. 7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and work well with a diverse team. 8. Ability to strategically think outside the box and overcome challenges. 9. Ability to recognize and handle confidential information with a high degree of discretion. 10. Proficient in social media platforms. 11. Experience in maintaining large database systems such as Constant Contact and Donor Perfect.


 Additional Information        

Provide support to the Events Manager for the planning and execution of large events, should they be produced them, virtually or in person, to include: o Maintain registration. o Organize event seating charts. o Maintain event email distribution lists. o Oversee live and silent auction, securing items and writing descriptions. Other duties as assigned. Robust benefits plan. Hourly rate of $23-$24 an hour depending on experience is non-negotiable.
