|
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for records management and database changes including configuration, maintenance, edits, global changes, updates, running queries, importing and exporting lists, and analyzing data as requested.
Processes new members and oversees annual renewals including coordination with mail house services.
Prepares, customizes and mails donation acknowledgement letters based on donor designations.
Assists in stewarding member and donor relationships including gift acknowledgement phone calls, follow up, resolving conflicts, providing support in person and via phone, and discussing/finalizing potential gift opportunities.
Generates accurate lists/reports for use in renewals, campaigns, mass mailings, and management analyses.
Drafts, edits, prepares, and coordinates member and donor-related communication via eblasts, Currents news magazine, social media, and website.
Supports member and donor engagement events including the annual gala.

Qualifications |
|
|
|
|
Education/Experience:
Four-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum one-year related experience in similar role.
Skills/Abilities
Computer skills to include proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Experience working with databases (Raisers Edge preferred).
Experience with Galaxy, ImportOmatic, Tableau and/or Mail Chimp a plus.
Team player ready and willing to help wherever needed or assigned.
Ability to work in a self-initiating business environment.
Ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals in a highly professional manner.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Ability to deal effectively with deadlines and time pressures.

The USS Midway Museum is seeking two candidates to join our membership/development team who are interested in working in a highly collaborative, fun environment; who appreciate volunteer service and enjoy problem solving; and who are passionate about making an impact at work. A relatively young and small organization, the Midway provides an excellent opportunity for staff to experience ownership of their work and see immediate results of their efforts while also enjoying a balanced work/life.
The Member/Donor Relations Managers perform a wide range of customer service duties in support of membership programs, donor relations and the Midway Foundation.
Schedule is generally Monday Friday, 8:30 am 5 pm but must be flexible to work occasional nights and weekends for member/donor events.
