Job Developer

 Job Description        

Definition of an Unyeway Job Developer: A goal-driven, organized, professional who will work with employers, funders, and program participants to develop and maintain suitable employment and community integration for persons with intellectual disabilities. Key duties include but are not limited to; educate the community at large in reference to working with persons with intellectual disabilities in the workplace. Conduct employment research and development activities leading to job placement. Participate in the intake process to secure funding with the department of rehabilitation. Network with employers, community groups, and funding sources to develop and maintain professional productive working relationships. Act as a liaison. Perform supported employment / Job readiness services.(This definition is not intended to provide the entirety of the position duties.  Qualifications        

Requirements: • Any combination of training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in business, social services, or a closely related field. • Three (3) years’ work experience in a business, professional, or human resource setting, of which two (2) years are in sales, marketing, or job development. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; • Exceptional organizational skills; • Favorable pre-employment background check and drug screen; and • Have the desire to make a difference and be part of our amazing team.
