 Job Description        

The Marketing Coordinator works under the direction and oversight of the Director of Development and collaborates with the President & CEO, staff and board members to develop and implement marketing and communication strategies addressing key constituencies (clients, corporate partners, donors, volunteers, potential donors and volunteers, community supporters, funders and potential funders, regional media and others as appropriate). The Coordinator’s primary responsibilities are in executing marketing and communications to promote a positive public image to the community as a leader in Senior support services.



•Must be passionate about MOWSDC's mission. •Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field •1-2 years experience in a marketing position and/or communications position. (will accept applications from recent college graduates who can demonstrate an aptitude for marketing and have some level of experience, whether as part of an internship or through a part-time job, in the field). •Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and proficiency with Adobe CS, Indesign, Photoshop and other appropriate marketing software programs a plus or ability to learn on the fly. Strong attention to detail. •Understanding of website maintenance. •Familiar with social media planning, posting and management tools (i.e. HootSuite, Tweetpi, etc.) •Up-to-date with trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement or a desire to get up-to-speed with these trends fast. •Experience with preparation of press releases, collateral materials, internet, website and social
