 Job Description        

OUTREACH: Develop presentations and address service clubs, church congregations, and others to promote community awareness, interest, and support of Center’s services is the primary focus. Represent the center to other social service organizations as needed and appropriate. Recruitment of volunteers to support and expand the center’s growing program needs. FUNDRAISING: Develop, launch, and implement additional fund-raising campaigns to support current and growth needs. Research, develop and implement an endowment fund to attract individual donors. Compose and implement production and mailing of annual solicitation letter. GRANT WRITING: Responsible for research, writing and implementation of grants. OFFICE OPERATIONS: Oversee work of Administrator and clerical support who manage our successful “in-place” programs. Work with staff to expand our current programs and establish staff responsibilities to meet other established goals and supervise their implementation.



B.A. required. Experience in developing presentations and speaking in public. Experience in creating and successfully implementing fund-raising campaigns. Successful grant writing experience. Office management background. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Excellent inter-personal relations skills. Background working with seniors a plus. Computer Skills: Proficient in Windows Office Word, Excel and Microsoft Publisher 5+ years related experience.
