 Job Description        

Under the supervision of the Contracts and Grants Director, responsible for assisting and coordinating industry sponsor negotiations and agreement execution and monitoring compliance matters related to sponsored research. Responsible for assisting with matters related to industry sponsored study progress and budget development, amongst others. Responsibilities may include assisting with institutional compliance oversight, weekly and monthly management reporting, year-end reporting, and ongoing coordination regarding administrative matters between VMRF, the Sponsor and the Principal Investigator and/or their designee. Coordinates and oversees project compliance. Will assist with the monitoring of ongoing projects to ensure that annual compliance reviews are obtained in a timely manner. This will include conflict of interest, IACUC and IRB and other compliance related matters. Coordinates CRADAs; Serve as primary point of contact to coordinate the negotiations of Cooperative Research



Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in related field and at least 1 year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word software. Must be familiar with and able to work with other Microsoft Office software products such as Outlook. The qualified candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and experience administratively managing clinical trial contracts. This individual must be a self-starter and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high volume production requirements and meeting frequent deadlines under minimal supervision. Ability to express thoughts in a clear, concise, and professional manner both verbally and in writing.
