 Job Description        

Accountable to Director of Services. Responsible for the development and maintenance of quality trauma informed youth services including, overseeing and coordinating the implementation of all services for the East County Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) program. Have overall operational responsibility to ensure quality school-based prevention and early intervention services are provided for elementary school-age children and their families. Collaborate with school district, Principals, staff and community partners to implement the Incredible Years evidence-based curricula in classrooms, afterschool child groups, and parenting support groups. Manage the program budgets and maintain fiscal responsibility and contract compliance for funding sources. Responsible for the development and maintenance of an integrated treatment approach for youth with co-occurring psychiatric and substance disorders.



Licensed MFT, LCSW, LPCC or Licensed Psychologist and in good standing with the State of California BBS required. Requires a minimum of three years of job-related experience, including mental health assessment and direct mental health service experience with at-risk, multiple families and children in public school settings. Experience in children, family, and community development methods. Experience in counseling youth and families providing assessment, crisis intervention and education. Must have an understanding and value the Promotora and Family Partnership models. Experience working with low-income families. Demonstrated leadership and problem solving abilities, supervisory skills, creativity, and public speaking preferred. Bilingual (Spanish language) preferred. Must show a willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
