 Job Description        

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Valid California Driver’s License High School diploma or GED Lived experience as a consumer or caregiver of a consumer of Children’s Behavioral Health Services, Child Welfare Services, the juvenile justice system, special education, or chronic medical condition Good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Associates Degree or higher level of education from an accredited university Prior experience working in a wraparound program or as a parent partner or parent educator Experience with Motivational Interviewing, Positive Discipline, case management and resourcing Training/experience in the area of children and families Bilingual in Spanish Proficient with computers and some experience with an electronic medical record system



Parent Partners use his/her own lived experience in providing culturally competent and trauma-informed services to youth and/or the youth’s family, with the intent of furthering the youth’s Family Wrap Plan.  The level of services provided to each family is dependent upon the family’s needs.  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
