Function as the point person for planning and executing events, keeping track of money, coordinating volunteers and interns, communication with donors, and stewardship among other tasks.
Generate email lists to contact vendors and volunteers for nonprofit events/news.
Create account payables upon request of manager.
Keep track of all charitable gifts to the nonprofit.
Manage data entry to ensure CRM and fundraising systems are accurate. Update systems in a timely manner. Provides reports to fundraising relationship team as needed.
Assist the CPO to plan and coordinate special events, including the annual “Opportunity for Impact” fundraiser, and other special/stewardship events.
Assist in special events coordination including event save the dates, invites, leading event logistics, recruitment and management of volunteers.
Manage and maintain registration for events, including contacting donors, volunteers, sponsors, and vendors as needed.
5 years experience in development
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a field related to the organizations mission.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and DonorPerfect.
Has superior interpersonal skills.
Communicates effectively with supervisor (accepts feedback, addresses concerns, and remains professional).
Maintains professionalism in the community.
Ability to work weekends and late nights.
