Payroll Admin Coord (ASC I), Payroll Services
Under the general direction of the Director of HRIS/Payroll and lead direction from the Payroll Technician III, the Payroll Administrative Coordinator independently provides administrative support and operational assistance for Payroll Services. The position is responsible for a wide range of department operations, which includes front-line support by providing customer services (in person, by phone and email), working with outside state/federal agencies and private companies related to employee employment and pay data, and providing Payroll Technicians with administrative support as needed. The incumbent must be able to interact with staff, faculty, administrators, students and external constituents while remaining calm, flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial in this position.
