Accounting Administrator (Temp)

 Job Description        

The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank is currently hiring a temporary full-time Accounting Administrator to provide support to the CFO. This individual is responsible for payroll processing, G/L reconciliation, drafting journal entries for month end adjustments, budgeting and audit support. The anticipated assignment dates for this position are August 28, 2017 – January 8, 2018.

 

 Qualifications        

The ideal candidate has: -Thorough knowledge & understanding of GAAP & double-entry accounting -General ledger account reconciliation experience -Experience closing the books at month-end A/P & A/R experience -Intermediate - Advanced Excel skills (formulas, conditional formatting, analyzing large data sets, etc.) -Microsoft Office & QuickBooks experience -Payroll processing & reconciliation experience -Basic financial reporting experience -Cash handling experience -The ability to work in a fast-paced environment -Clear and effective communication skills (both orally and in writing) -A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or a closely related field; and at least 5 years of accounting experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
