 Job Description        

Interfaith's Transitional Youth Academy (TYA) WIOA Out-of-School Youth program provides case management, intensive mentoring, leadership development, academic support, vocational training and workforce opportunities for 50 out-of-school youth ages 16-24 in north coastal San Diego County, including individuals who have dropped out of school, are justice-involved, current or former foster youth, pregnant or parenting, experiencing homelessness, a refugee or immigrant, or residing in a public housing program. This position will work closely with existing program staff, school administrators, and community partners to implement this program in North County, primarily in Oceanside and Vista, CA, with possible expansion across North County. Position includes supervisory responsibility for on-site staff, program compliance, data collection and reporting and grant management. This is a temporary assignment. Compensation commensurate with experience. Temporary, no benefits.



Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Education, Criminal Justice or related field required. Minimum three (3) years of experience in staff management, case management, and grant administration required. Experience working with teens and/or young adults in a WIA/WIOA program preferred. Experience with data entry and reporting experience using Cal Jobs preferred. Must have reliable transportation and possess and maintain a valid California driver's license including proof of personal vehicle insurance coverage and insurability under the Company's insurance carrier standards. Must successfully pass a criminal background and exclusion/disbarment check, as well as successfully pass a pre-employment physical examination, tuberculosis test, and drug screen.
