 Job Description        

Aid the Co-Founders and Executive Director in administrative duties and general research. Facility: oversee maintenance of facilities, purchasing research, and order supplies. Clean as needed. Events: responsible for the oversight of coordinating events with artists, vendors, and volunteers, and updating the organizational internal calendar. Tenants: ensure smooth rental process including acting as the main point of contact, coordinate volunteer hours, and maintain communications for the tenants. Coordination and advertising for all rentals, draft and manage leases. Bookkeeping: work with outside accountant to maintain accounting software and accounting files, manage rent, prepare and make bank deposits, and keep QuickBooks accounting software up to date Database Management: maintain e-mail and organizational databases such as event history, attendance, and grant fund usage. Marketing: provide oversight to ensure prompt social media updates



At least two years professional experience in arts administration, or relevant business experience Highly organized, thorough, and detail-oriented Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at once Experience and proficiency with Google Suite and Quickbooks Able to work independently Social media marketing experience


 Additional Information        

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree Event management experience A basic understanding of required budgeting, accounting and financial-management functions Leadership skills and communication skills: a warm personality; the ability to work as a leader one day and a team member the next; experience managing volunteers and employees; experience/familiarity with fundraising strategies (special events, direct mail, grant writing, major donor programs, planned giving) Experience working with and supervising others
