Asset Building Program Supervisor

 Job Description        

The Asset Building Program Supervisor will support the Asset Building team through the supervision of the microenterprise development (MED) program, individual development account (IDA) program, and VITA tax program. This will entail staff supervision, program planning and implementation oversight, monitoring/evaluation/and quality assurance, ensuring Asset Building programs meet established program outcomes per funder and contract requirements, and donor reporting. The Asset Building Program Supervisor must be committed to working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a team committed to offering high-quality, community-based programs. He/she must have sound judgment and be comfortable making decisions in a fluid environment.

 

 Qualifications        

• Undergraduate degree required in economics, international development, or related field or relevant work experience. • High level of familiarity with economic development strongly preferred. • 2-4 years’ experience with client counseling, case management, or coaching required. • 2-4 years’ experience in the non-profit sector with supervisory experience strongly preferred. • • Previous multi-cultural experience and demonstrated ability to communicate well with people of varied backgrounds strongly preferred. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make presentations required. • Demonstrated skills with reporting and tracking information in a database. • Proficiency in a refugee language (especially Arabic, Farsi, or Swahili) a plus.
