 Job Description        

The Chief Financial Officer provides critical leadership in financial administration, business planning and budgeting. The CFO is expected to identify challenges and propose proactive strategies to the CEO to achieve fiscal solvency and optimal performance and upon approval move forward to implement strategies and plans. As a member of the Executive Team, the CFO will promote a positive work environment, present a model of preeminent service to all stakeholders, implement organizational objectives to conduct business through inclusive communication and accountability, participate in community coalitions and advisory groups, provide summaries on issues and trends, identify opportunities, and create viable plans for implementation. The Executive Team, along with the CEO provides leadership and management to ensure that Harmonium mission and core values are put into practice. Participates in the strategy, development, implementation and review of Harmonium business.



MINIMUM COMPETENCIES  Minimum of a Bachelor degree from an accredited 4-year college; MBA or MPA is preferred  5+ years in a senior managerial or leadership role with direct responsibility for managing finances including but not limited to accounting, budgeting, control, reporting and auditing  Accounting certification and/or CPA license preferred  Demonstrated excellence in managing finance, accounting, budgeting, control, reporting and auditing  Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model  Experience in working with nonprofit organizational accounting practices essential  A collaborative and flexible style that works effectively with the CEO  Experience with MIP accounting software helpful  Ability to exercise good judgment and uphold professional conduct that includes honesty, ethics and transparency Please view entire job description online and APPLY:


 Additional Information        

Full time, Exempt Salary: $88,652.20 annually (all new hires begin at starting salary regardless of experience) Benefits: $175 monthly towards health, dental, vision, voluntary and/or HRA; 403b Retirement Plan with a match of up to 2% based on years of service; Initial 3 years, vacation time accrued at 11.67 hours per month; after 3 years 14.58 hours per month; sick time 7.0 hours per month Reports to: Chief Executive Officer Direct Report: Accounting Supervisor, Accounting Assistant AP EEO Job Category: Executive/Senior Level Officials and Managers
