Provides leadership and works with staff to develop and maintain a high performance, customer services-oriented work environment that supports achieving MAAC’s mission, strategic goals, and core values.Coordinates and integrates program functions and responsibilities to achieve optimal efficiency.



Federal (DOE, HUD, OSHA, EPA, DHS, LIHEAP) State (DHS and CSD) and local (San Diego, National City and San Diego County) laws, regulations applicable to grant and contract administration, lead safe work practices and weatherization housing rehabilitation projects. Practices, methods and materials used in building and construction trades: theories, principles and methods of structural, concrete, electrical and plumbing construction. Computer skills and use of database applications. Progressive approaches and practices for program delivery. Social, political and environment issues influencing program/project development and implementation. Practices, tools and techniques used in improving energy conservation and the use of lead safe work practices in housing structures. Human Resources policies and procedures and labor contract provisions. Principles and Practices of: Budgeting, project planning, scheduling, purchasing, and inventory control. Sound business communications


 Additional Information        

Apply at A typical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills and abilities outlined above is a AA degree in public or business administration; and/or at least 4 years of increasingly responsible experience in supervision.
