Experience: Minimum of 7 years of work experience with a track record of meeting annual fundraising/sales goals. Knowledge of the philanthropic landscape in Dallas-Fort Worth preferred. Work Demands: Ability to travel around the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.



The Managing Director - Individual Giving (MDIG) will set the vision and direction for the Individual Giving multi-year fundraising strategy for the TFA-DFW region, manage a large network of high-level relationships (including a portfolio of 25+ donors in the $25,000-249,999 range) and generate more than $2M in annual revenue towards the overall goal of $10M. By successfully raising $10M, the development team enables TFA-DFW to reach over 75,000 students on a daily basis in North Texas. Reporting to the Head of Development, the MDIG will create and implement the individual giving development plan that will ensure Teach For America can continue to serve its students and champions sustainably. The MDIG will manage the Director - Individual Giving and the Manager - Development. To be successful, the MDIG must have exceptional strategic and critical thinking skills; ability to build strong relationships with others in challenging situations; sophisticated relationship management skills.
