Regional Director of Research & Evaluation

 Job Description        

•Responsible for developing a vision for CSS’ overall research and evaluation agenda and CSS’ ability to produce relevant, compelling, and impactful translation of impact and outcomes •Oversee, coordinate, and manage overall cultural shift to CQI and evidence/data-driven/informed decision making practices; includes identification of external literature reviews, internal assessment of capacity, staff training, workshops, and consultation with diverse staff and participants •Coordinate and oversee efforts to measure impact on vulnerable communities, families, and individuals CSS serves •Drive efforts to implement and utilize CQI activities internally to ensure program components and interventions are efficient and effective •Drive efforts to assist programs, staff, and leadership with sustainability planning and assessment •Coordinate and oversee CSS’ data management systems

 

 Qualifications        

•Master’s Degree in social or human services field required. Doctoral Degree in a behavioral science, psychology, social science or related field strongly preferred •Minimum 6-10 years’ experience with evaluation design and execution, impact/outcome measurement, and social research •Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with programs that serve vulnerable populations, including youth and young adults, preferred •Minimum of 5 years’ experience supervising staff and cultivating teams •Minimum of 5 years’ experience with CQI integration and evaluation capacity building in community-based, public, or similar agencies/organizations •Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading change management activities in large, complex organizations •Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills required •Strong proficiency in SPSS (or similar software), Microsoft Office Suite, and database management systems required •Experience implementing cultural strategies
