 Job Description        

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: the development, licensing, coordinating, supervision, and evaluation of all after school programs, services and centers; staff training; policy-development; budgeting and financial reporting; marketing and public relations; exploration of new business ventures; collaboration with departmental managers to create budgets and develop business plans. The ideal candidate for this position possesses proven leadership skills, as well as a strong ability to problem solve and make sound decisions that encourage corporate growth. The Director of Operations is responsible to oversee a team of approximately 90 or more annually.



Qualifications and Skills: •Six to ten years of management experience •Experience in Operational Leadership positions •Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Early Childhood Education, child development, or related field that includes at least 18 credit hours in courses related directly to childcare and/or child development for school-age children. These courses are preferred but may be substituted with experience and/or other qualifications. •Must have strong business, organizational, leadership, creative, conflict management •Excellent written/oral communication skills •6 to 10 years supervisory experience required managing employees, payroll and budgets •Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, prioritize work, solve problems, and operate under time and work volume pressure •Effective interpersonal skills and flexibility a must •Effective decision-making skills •Experience with develop

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience and competitive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision. This is an exempt, full-time salaried position.
