 Job Description        

Specific Responsibilities: Accountable to Division Director. Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and quality assurance for the Helping, Engaging, Reconnecting and Educating (HERE) Now Program, a comprehensive trauma-informed school-based suicide Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) program as well as the day-to-day operations and quality assurance for the Anti-Bullying, Intervention, and Advocacy Support (BIAS) Program, a trauma- informed program that provides case management, counseling, advocacy, and service coordination for victims of bullying. Oversee and coordinate the implementation of all services for the HERE Now PEI and Anti-BIAS program, including hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating core staff, interns and volunteers. Have overall operational responsibility for both School-based programs. Ensure quality school-based services are provided for middle school and high school youth and their families.



Qualifications: Licensed Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC by the state of California with a minimum of three (3) years, of job-related experience, including direct behavioral health service experience working with at-risk children and adolescents, and their families and prefer at least 1 years in a supervisory position. Must be in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences. Candidates who are License LPCC must be able to provide services to families or be willing to obtain education and experience to do so. Experience in counseling youth and families providing assessment, crisis intervention and education required. Experience with community development methods and designing youth leadership systems, preferably in school settings. Must have an understanding and value the Youth and Family Partnership models. Knowledge of case coordination and collaboration with multiple agencies and public entities a must.
