Job Developer

 Job Description        

Under supervision/direction, the Job Developer will provide employment preparation, placement and follow up services to clients. The Job Developer will work as a part of a team in the Connect to Success (C2S) program that prepares and supports participants to become ready for careers in multiple fields. C2S is housed in our MAAC Community Charter School (MCCS), participants aged 17-24.



A typical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills and abilities outlined in this announcement is graduation from a four-year college or university with a major in Business Administration, Health, Human Resources, Marketing, Social Services or a related field AND two (2) years of experience providing job development and/or case management, or working as a facilitator with persons with significant barriers, as is knowledge of the San Diego labor market and employers. Experience in sales, marketing or public relations is highly desirable. Computer literacy is required with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
