 Job Description        

Oversee the activities of the PFM department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial analysis, projections, budgets and billing documents and annual audits and annual budgets. • Directly lead, coach and supervise PFM managers, and provide training and leadership to PFM department. • Analyze and implement efficient and effective PFM processes and procedures. Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company's value. • Collaborate with Corporate Controller to create, implement, and maintain program accounting policies and procedures. • Collaborate with Compliance & Ethics VP on internal audit function; member of and participation in organization’s internal audit committee. • Develop reference tools & training for program staff (non-financial) as it relates to fiscal compliance.



QUALIFICATIONS • Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field OR CPA License required • Minimum 5 years of experience managing an accounting or finance team • Audit experience strongly preferred • Proven experience in financial analysis • OMB knowledge highly desirable • Experience with government contract or project cost accounting preferred • Non-Profit accounting or finance experience highly desirable • High level of knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills strongly preferred. • Strong ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Experienced making financial presentations. • Enjoy working in a fast pace office environment, with the ability to work independently and to collaborate. • Able to work a mostly sedentary position, with ability to lift files, open file cabinets and bend as necessary.


 Additional Information        

The Director of Finance is responsible for ensuring fiscal compliance of all funder contracts. Oversees and leads the Program Financial Management (PFM) department and works with the Finance leadership team to ensure legal and regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions. Maintains a system of accounting records, provides financial information and analysis to management and confers with the Compliance & Ethics department to ensure that reported results comply with OMB guidelines and contract requirements. Works closely with external funding agencies and internal stakeholders including the executive team.
