 Job Description        

Specific Responsibilities: Accountable to BridgeWays Program Manager and Director of Services. Work with Program Manager providing supervision of staff working in probation field services. Hold weekly meetings; provide support to both staff and the Program Manager. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, this position can allow for the Lead to provide mental health services to youth throughout San Diego County through patience, creativity and acceptance, as youth develop relational competencies and life skills. Manage participant motivation, removal of barriers, intakes and assessments, creating Client Plan in coordination with the youth, facilitate referrals, and collaborate with community partners.



Qualifications: Must be a California licensed mental health professional with a minimum of two (2) years, full-time direct clinical experience post Master’s degree working with at risk and or justice involved youth and parents/caregivers and 1 year in a supervisory role. Candidates who are Licensed LPCC must be able to provide documentation they are approved by the BBS to provide services to families or be willing to obtain education and experience to do so. Must be in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences. Experience in crisis intervention, therapeutic group facilitation, documentation, curriculum maintenance/development, and case management and who has provided services with Cerner in a Medi-Cal funded clinic. Knowledge of Motivational Interviewing, Seeking Safety. Must be a team player with ability to work independently.
