 Job Description        

Reporting to the CFO, the controller implements the day-to-day accounting practices of the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego. The controller is responsible for the management of fiscal records including but not limited to the general ledger, month-end closings, budget preparation and monitoring, audit prep, management of AR and AP, fixed and net assets, and loan administration.



Seeking a CPA level candidate. Must have five years plus accounting experience in a similar role. Knowledgeable in non-profit fund accounting a must. We currently use Quickbooks On-line but seek to move to a fund accounting software package in the near future. We support equal opportunity.


 Additional Information        

Full-time is considered 35 hours a week. Eligible for pension and medical benefits. Work location and hours are flexible. An accounting assistant provides support with data entry.
