WHAT WILL YOU DO? Coordinates and supports the day to day processes in Human Resources Assists in implementing organization strategy Participates in HRIS implementation and management Supports employment team with new hire process Facilitates on boarding Assists in rewards and recognition programs and training strategies Acts as liaison between SDZG operations and Human Resources as needed Supports in managing employee relations and labor-related matters Counsels employees and management regarding human resources issues Advises management on organizational policy matters related to the HRIS Interprets the Collective Bargaining Agreement as needed Maintains and administers employment, wage and salary, and other incentive programs Adheres to all SDZG and department policies and practices Models punctuality and professionalism Exemplifies the highest standard of work ethics Performs consistently above the organizationís performance standards Performs related duties and responsibilities



JOB EXPERIENCE -Three years of human resources management work experience required -Employee relations -Coaching and training -Strategic planning -Public speaking to conduct new employee orientation EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS -PHR/SPHR desirable SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE -Human resources generalist -Employee benefits programs -Employment and equal employment opportunity programs -Labor law, relations, and collective bargaining agreements -HRIS -Counsel employees and management -Communication effectively (verbal and written) -Manage assigned staff -Analyze and utilize database information -Compose correspondence -Prepare and make presentations -Use word processing and spreadsheet systems
