 Job Description        

Pay Rate: $58,240 - $60,000/Year Benefits: Benefits for this position include a 401(k) plan, medical, dental and vision coverage, flexible spending accounts, life insurance and generous holiday benefits. Position Overview: The Family Support Liaison Program (FSLP) is a new program, which aims to support parents and caregivers as they navigate the Child Welfare System (CWS) to reunify with their child/ren, as well as to reduce future CWS involvement of families enrolled in the program. San Diego County CWS is committed to reducing the disproportionality of African American/Black and immigrant/refugee families who are CWS involved. The Program Manager will supervise a team of 4 Family Support Specialists and coordinate the FSLP program with a subcontracting partner. The Program Manager is responsible for providing program oversight on daily operations and ensuring the program runs smoothly, and this role will also provide some direct services to client and maintain a small caseload.



Education and Experience Qualifications: • Bachelor’s in human services-related field, Master’s highly preferred • Minimum of 5 year of direct experience and demonstrated knowledge of working with African-American/Black and/or immigrant/refugee populations in San Diego county • Minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory role or with equivalent experience (e.g. managing volunteers) • Lived experience of child welfare systems and processes preferred • Prior experience with mental health, case management, and/or resource coordination roles Skills/Knowledge/Personal Qualities Required: • Excellent leadership and organizational skills • Proven ability to work with diverse groups and build strong partnerships • Culturally competent when relating to clients and staff • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to be available for staff, as needed, during some weekends and evenings • Demonstrate cultural and linguistic competence & sensitiv
