Director of Information Technology (IT)

Position Overview JFS is looking for a mission-driven individual to lead the IT team as the Director of Information Technology. In this role, you will be able to use your strong technical and leadership experience to make a meaningful difference in your community and help change lives across San Diego. As the Director of IT at JFS, you will be responsible for stabilizing and leading the systems and IT needs throughout the organization. The position requires outstanding technical skills as well as leadership, project management, analysis, critical thinking, and risk management. This position is responsible for planning and oversight to ensure effective implementation of ongoing and new projects, and for providing technical leadership and day-to-day coaching of the IT team. This position will work across the entire organization to ensure that upstream and downstream impacts are identified, communicated, and aligned. You will be responsible for defining and documenting SOP's

• 10+ years of relevant experience implementing and managing business systems with 5+ years in a leadership or management capacity • Experience in building and scaling up the business systems in a rapid growth organization • Proven ability to create and deliver to a roadmap with fixed resources • Solid understanding of operational business processes • Experience in maintaining, upgrading, and implementing systems • Strong project management skills and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities and projects • Ability to balance long term strategic priorities with short term tactical need • MCSE and CCNE certifications or equivalent experience • High degree of proficiency with Windows and MS Office • Able to understand complex systems quickly • Effective communication and interpersonal skills • Strong project management and leadership skills • Ability to thrive and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced organization • Able to work evenings and weekends
