Chief Operating Officer

 Job Description        

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) reports to and works in close partnership with the CEO to develop and refine the organizationsí financial planning, systems, structure and processes that enable CRC to successfully fulfill its mission and deliver results. In addition to being a strategic thought partner to the CEO and the Board of Directors, the COO will oversee and implement short-and long-range administration, financial strategies, financial and accounting functions, human resources, information technology, resale stores and risk management. This is an ideal opportunity for a dynamic leader, experienced operational manager and systems builder to play a critical role in a growing organization that helps its neighbors create paths to healthy food, stable homes and safe relationships.

 

 Qualifications        

10 years progressive financial leadership with at least 5 years nonprofit accounting, government contracts and A110/ Single Audit experience preferred; BA/BS in accounting or finance, Masterís degree preferred; MBA, CPA or CMA Certification or equivalent preferred; Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Governmental Accounting Standards (GASB) required; knowledge of government grant regulations preferred; Experience overseeing diverse financial portfolio of programs with multiple funding streams; Advanced knowledge of fund Accounting software/ERP, preference for Oracle NetSuite; MS Office expertise: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Excellent knowledge of data analysis, risk management and forecasting methods; Strong analytical and team skills; ability to work without close supervision.

The salary range for this position is $120k-$125kper year, depending upon experience.
