|
Position Summary:
The Executive Assistant’s primary goal is to provide executive administrative support to the CEO, and to the Board of Directors and CHW Executive Management team as required.
Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the CEO, the Executive Assistant is responsible for the following:
• Maintains CEO’s calendar and schedules, and organizes meetings, travel and executive management team activities.
• Produces composing clear, accurate and concise emails, memos, correspondence, PowerPoint’s and Board reports.
• Compiles, coordinates and prepares goal reports and other reports, and tracks assignment completion.
• Tracks and enters new contacts in appropriate systems.
• Compiles lobbying reports for legal filing.
• Prepares and coordinates material for Board of Directors, and committees. Attends meetings to prepare minutes, and maintains corporate files. Provides a point of central contact for all Board members, elected officials.
• Provides central point of contact for website updates and changes.
• Creates and maintains systems, utilizing appropriate technology, to manage these tasks. Identifies ways to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of CEO administrative support functions.

| Qualifications |

|
|
• Five years in an executive support position at the President or Vice President level.
• Ability to write brief reports, business correspondence, and Board minutes.
• Ability to maintain attention to detail in composing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment in an extremely organized way, and to manage multiple competing tasks and shifting priorities.
• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations, and to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels, from residents to elected officials to business leaders.
• Demonstrated history of initiative in identifying and solving practical problems.
• Intermediate computer software application skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook, and in Internet informational searches.
• Able to type 50+ WPM, excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation skills.
• Bachelor degree or at least three years substituting experience required.
• Valid driver's license and regular availability of an insured vehicle to travel within the San Diego County area.
• Interest in serving the housing needs of San Diego’s diverse communities.
• Experience in real estate, nonprofits, or website oversight a plus.
