Community Resource Center (CRC) is seeking a Director of Finance to support CRC’s mission and growth by managing all accounting and financial activities. This position, reporting to the Executive Director, is part of the organizational leadership team contributing to the overall strategic direction of the organization.

| Qualifications |
|
|
|
|
|
The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Finance with a minimum seven years experience in accounting or finance with experience in budgeting, proposal preparation, government accounting and contract compliance experience. Knowledge of GAAP accounting standards for not for profit organizations managing grants and strong knowledge in financial modeling, forecasting, and advanced Excel usage is required. Quickbooks for Non-Profits and commercial lending experience is also a plus. Experience in a senior financial-management role with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks proficiently, and working with executive staff and a Board of Directors is required.

• General Description and Responsibilities:
• Ensure policy and contract compliance as related to financial requirements and status of all government and foundation contracts and grants and organizations fiscal policies.
• Responsible for budget preparation, and monthly reporting and analysis of budget to actual and assist Department Director’s in resolution of budget to actual variances.
• Oversight of accounting department processes and work flow including the evaluation, analysis and presentation of monthly financial statements.
• Financial oversight of CRC’s Ways to Work, auto lending program to low income clients.
• Oversight of quarterly and annual reports; Workman’s compensation, SUI analysis, county tax assessor’s annual report, payroll reconciliation’s, and insurance coverage.
• Manage annual audit process including completion of audit schedules and other documents required by auditors under GAAP principles.
• Manage all cash related functions and bank accounts.
