Job Title: Director of Membership Operations
Reports to: Chief Operations and Financial Officer
Status: Full-time - Exempt status
Benefits: Full benefit package
Start date: Mid-August-Early September 2012
Salary Range: $50,000 to $70,000 annual (depending on experience)
Job Description:
- A highly organized, detail-oriented, self-starter, who is an independent thinker with a 'can-do' attitude who handles the organization's membership and accounting operations.
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
- Research and certify eligibility requirements for new physician members.
- Conduct, from start to finish, the membership application and renewal process
- Perform periodic data audits and database maintenance
- Generate analysis reports of membership trends
- Oversee the preparation, printing and mailing of all membership materials
- Oversee all aspects of accounting duties, including payables and receivables invoices, payments, deposits, and reconciliations
- Assist in the monthly close and audit preparation.
- This position description identifies the major responsibilities. It does not include all aspects of the position such as the potential duties assigned by the COO and the requirement for flexibility in helping others for the organization's overall benefit.

| Qualifications |
|
|
|
|
|
- Advanced skills in Word and Excel and intermediate skills in Outlook.
- Advanced QuickBooks bookkeeping experience is required.
- Advanced database entry and query experience preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft Access would be very helpful.
- Thorough knowledge of business English including spelling grammar, punctuation, work division and vocabulary.
- Possess the ability to express ideas concisely and clearly, orally and in writing.
- Thorough knowledge of standard typing and business document layouts with the ability to write effective correspondence, memos and reports.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 5-10 yrs experience performing a range of progressively increasing bookkeeping and database duties or equivalent education is required.
