Please visit our website www.mhsinc.org Program Description East County Center for Change is the case management and treatment provider for San Diego’s East County Division Adult Drug Court. We work collaboratively with other members of the Drug Court Team, which include the Judge, Court Support Staff, District Attorney, Public Defender, and Law Enforcement Liaison Officers. Our treatment services include group and individual counseling, case management services, mental health services, employment services, and community referral services. Position Description • Adheres to program budget and reviews monthly operating statements to insure program financial integrity. • Monitors all program records to ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness. • Overall responsibility for program operation, staffing and success per MHS Polices, contract requirements and applicable Federal, State and municipal codes, laws and regulations. • Oversees and directs the clinical and treatment aspects of the program including direct supervision of the work of the treatment team members. • Collaborates with relevant external agencies in providing treatment. • Prepares contractually required reports regarding program progress and success.

 

 Qualifications        

Education/Experience Requirements • B.A/B.S. degree; and Certification through a recognized alcohol and drug certification entity and three years of experience providing treatment in substance abuse programs • Two years of supervisory experience • One year of experience preaparing or directing the preparation of program budget and cost reports • Cognitive and behavior therapy techniques • Bilingual ( Spanish) a plus
