 Job Description        

The SNAP-ED Project Coordinator, supports SNAP-ED Policy, Systems, and Environment (PSE) strategies in both San Diego and Imperial County, provide support for CCDSD staff in programs that incorporate PSE strategies, and assist the Program Supervisor with the administration of the SNAP-Ed contract to ensure compliance with the agreement between Catholic Charities Diocese of San Diego and Catholic Charities of California (CCC). SNAP-Ed PROGRAMMATIC RESPONSIBILITIES: • Coordinate and follow-up on the activities specifically outlined in the three year SNAP-ED work plan. Provide administrative support to the Program Supervisor and designated CCDSD staff in implementing SNAP-Ed PSE work.



Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Public Health or Nutrition preferred. Additional one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent organizational skills. Computer experience in Microsoft Office Software. Bi-lingual preferred - Spanish This position requires frequent travel to community/county meetings and to sites where SNAP-Ed interventions are conducted in both San Diego and Imperial County.


 Additional Information        

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with some evenings and weekends to meet the demands of the program SALARY: $14-15/hour DOE
