Location: Adams Elementary Hours: Full Time as assigned Monday-Friday; 40 hours per week; all program hours required Salary: $14.00 per hour (all new hires begin at starting salary regardless of experience) Benefits: $150 monthly towards health premium OR $150 monthly towards dental/vision/voluntary with remaining dollars placed into HRA; retirement plan match maximum 2% of annual salary based on years of service (403b); initial 3 years, PTO accrued at 10.66 hours per month; after 3 years, 14.00 hours per month Our Program Specialists take all steps necessary to ensure the safety, security, and well being of students enrolled in the program. Responsibilities include site supervision, and interaction with students on a daily basis, individually and via group.



Harmonium offers: * The PrimeTime extended school day programs for children K-8th grade throughout the San Diego Unified School District. * More than 4,000 elementary and middle school students participate in this free program daily. * We provide a fun and engaging learning environment for all children. * A commitment to providing an innovative and rewarding work environment in which our employees can thrive. * Flexible Schedules (corresponding to program hours) * Excellent experience and top-of-the-line training Minimum Competencies: Must be 18 years of age or older Must pass CAPE test or have a minimum of 48 college units completed Must have either a minimum of 12 completed units in child development, elementary and/or middle school education, recreation or related field or a minimum of 12 months documented work experience in an ASES program Must have 1 year supervisory experience of children & staff OR 1 year assistant supervisory experience within Harmonium OR demonstrated administrative and programmatic experience (ex. attendance tracking, staff counseling/training, student support, etc.) Must have 1 year working in an afterschool program or group child care setting with elementary and/or middle school aged children Valid Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification required Must pass Alcohol/Drug Test and Fingerprint Clearance upon hire (paid by Harmonium)
