Clinician/ Therapist for Residential/Educational Campus- Escondido

 Job Description        

Primary Responsibilities Include: •Initial screening, assessment, and diagnosis •Developing treatment plans in collaboration with youth. •Provides individual, group and family therapy. •Assisting with conflict resolution, problem solving, social skills development, substance abuse treatment (as necessary), etc. •Collaborating closely with residential staff working within a team, reinforcing campus structure and expectations, supporting academic achievement. •Weekly progress note documentation, clinical assessments and outcome measures, and other documentation •Practical teaching and guidance with independent living skills (transportation, relationships, budgeting, etc) •Support in the community including assisting with transportation to jobs, school, passes, etc. •Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending professional development training, utilizing clinical supervision and consultation. •Supporting transitional age youth and building transitional plans.

 

 Qualifications        

•Masters Degree AND registration with Board of Behavioral Sciences/intern number. (LCSW/MFT/AMFT/ASW) •Experience working with abused, neglected and traumatized adolescents. •Experience and skill in working effectively a multi-disciplinary teams. •1-2 years experience providing individual, group and family therapy. •Experience with Substance Abuse Treatment •Ability to work the primary schedule of 11-7 Mon - Thurs, and 9-5 on Friday with seasonal flexibility to this schedule. Preferred Skills/Qualifications: •Fluent in Spanish •Experience in residential/school settings
