Director of Partner Engagement

 Job Description        

Position Objective The Director of Partner Engagement is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage community partners in 2-1-1’s Community Information Exchange CIE, person-centered model and increasing community awareness of 2-1-1 services while focusing on enhancement of the overall client experience, both with 2-1-1 and with the community network as a whole.

 

 Qualifications        

• BA/BS or higher degree in Public Health, Social Welfare or related field plus at least 4 years’ experience working with social service programs in San Diego County. • 4 or more years of experience involving program and project management, community outreach and external relations. • Requires understanding of the social services landscape in San Diego. • Experience in evaluation, needs assessment, process improvement, data analysis and program or process improvement required. • Demonstrated ability to lead projects to completion with limited supervision. • Superior analytical and communication skills (verbal and written). • Ability to build and maintain positive and supportive working relationships with internal and external contacts. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, track multiple projects and manage multiple priorities. • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Salesforce and online systems. • This position is 35% internal and 65% external.
