The Director of Partner Engagement is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage community partners in 2-1-1s Community Information Exchange CIE, person-centered model and increasing community awareness of 2-1-1 services while focusing on enhancement of the overall client experience, both with 2-1-1 and with the community network as a whole.
BA/BS or higher degree in Public Health, Social Welfare or related field plus at least 4 years experience working with social service programs in San Diego County.
4 or more years of experience involving program and project management, community outreach and external relations.
Requires understanding of the social services landscape in San Diego.
Experience in evaluation, needs assessment, process improvement, data analysis and program or process improvement required.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects to completion with limited supervision.
Superior analytical and communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to build and maintain positive and supportive working relationships with internal and external contacts.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, track multiple projects and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Salesforce and online systems.
This position is 35% internal and 65% external.
