 Job Description        

Harmonium Mission: Our mission at Harmonium is to promote well-being and self-sufficiency in children, youth, and their families through creative education, intervention, and prevention services rooted in collaboration with neighborhoods and families. Description: Our Activity Leaders take all steps necessary to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of the children enrolled in the program. Location Varies, multi-site worker Hours: Part Time, shift/hours. Options are available for: • all AM shifts • all PM shifts • mixed AM/PM shifts Salary: $11.50 per hour (all new hires begin at starting salary regardless of experience) Benefits: 403b Retirement Plan with a match of up to 2% based on years of service; CA Paid Sick Leave accrued at 1 hour per 30 hours worked with a maximum accrual of 80 hours per calendar year

 

 Qualifications        

-18 years of age and older -Pass CAPE test or have a minimum of 48 completed college units -A minimum of 6 months experience working and/or volunteering in an after school or group child care setting with elementary aged children -Valid Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification required -Demonstrated ability in sports, special interests and hobbies, and/or arts & crafts -Ability to relate well to children and adults -Valid TB results required  - Must pass Fingerprint Clearance upon hire (paid for by Harmonium)
